Adapter to use 85w Macbook charger with iPhone 8/X ?

Hello everyone,

As now we know that iPhone 8 & X support fast charging and that the 87W/29W USB-c chargers can be used with newest iPhones to achieve fast charging.

I wanted to know if there is an adapter that converts the older magsafe2 type 85W charger to support the newest iPhone 8.

I do not wish to buy a new charger when i already have a 85W charger sitting on my table.

I'm sure there are plenty of people that still use the magsafe2 chargers vs USB-c users

Please let me know if there are any converters/adapters

At this time, Apple does not have a MagSafe to Lightning adapter.

You could use the iPad charger.

It is 12 watts, vs. the 5 watt charger that comes with the phone. It specifically says it is compatible with the iPhone X.

May not be as fast as the USB-C chargers, but just the USB-C cable needed for them costs more than the iPad charger.
