My Digital Crown is not responding

Operation of the Digital Crown can be affected by substances like dust or lotion. If it has stopped operating as expected, then it may help to clean it by following the steps here:

If the issue persists, then your Apple Watch may require service. It sounds like you may need to clean out the Digital Crown of your watch.

To do start some warm running water. Then stick the Digital Crown under the water and spin it around many times. After a few times you should be able to get the crown to move very easily and hopefully it will respond better.

There is no need for you to worry about this ruining your watch as they are water resistant.
