'trustd' process high CPU & memory - Mac mini extremely slow. Etre report within.
Mac Mini late 2012.
For the past two weeks, my mac mini has been running extremely slowly to the point it is unusable. the trustd process consistently runs at 100% or more for CPU, and within memory, the usage climbs from a few 100 MBs to gigabytes within minutes. If I kill it, the process instantly returns and does the same.
My mac is in my home country and I won't be going home for another 3 months, I am hoping I can resolve this remotely without having to reinstall the OS.
