Can you replace a MacBook Pro A1398 glass screen with a A1286 glass screen?

Hello,

My glass screen of my MacBook Pro A1398 (early 2013) has cracked. Is it possible to replace it with a A1286 glass panel?

The LCD screen is working fine, so I dont need a new one.

If the answer is yes, than my next question is if the replacement uses the same method. So warming up the glass carefully and than lifting it with ease?

I would like to hear from you, the price range varies very much ($390 for the LCD and $20 for only the glass)

Kind regards

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 10.3.3
