iPhone 6 wifi and GPS not working

Hi all,

I'm experiencing troubles with my iPhone 6 which is not working properly both in wifi and GPS.

The wifi in unable to identify new networks, while recognizes and connects normally to saved networks.

The GPS, on its side, reports a position that is several Km away from the real position.

What kind of problem can this be? Is there a common cause or are they different faults?

Thanks!

iPhone 6, iOS 10.3.3, 64 GB ram

How I fixed my GPS and WIFI Issues on my iPhone 6. The actual Antenna I gently lifted with a tiny screwdriver, and slide a piece of tape under it, and right away the GPS and WIFI worked. The GPS/WIFI Antenna connections loosen up over time. (and/or a tiny pad on the antenna may slide out of place after many heat cycles). Google it and you'll see thousands having same issue. Just open the iphone gently, (you'll need a tiny screwdriver you can buy on amazon for $3) slide a piece of tape under the antenna, that lifts the antenna slightly, restoring connections. Pass the word. IT's NOT SOFTWARE RELATED. (replacing the $7 antenna can also be done, but much more work)

If Apple is reading this, please please let people know it was a flaw in GPS/WIFI antenna design that does not last.

Hey, Vittorio.

I see that your iPhone 6 isn't locating new Wi-Fi connections and Location Services isn't as accurate as it should. I'm happy to help.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network -- Follow the steps provided in this article for help connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

About privacy and Location Services in iOS 8 and later -- Review the information in this support article to see what can effect the GPS location of your iPhone.

Let me know how that goes and take care!
