How to add a user to a shared album who doesn't have a cell phone, just and Apple computer

My grandparents have an Apple computer but no cell phone. Is there a way to add them to a shared photo album in iPhotos without them having a cell phone? End goal is that they can just turn their computer on, click on photos, and see recent uploads. Trying to make photo sharing with them as easy as possible.

It is not necessary to have cell phone. You can invite someone to view a shared album, if the person has a Mac that can run Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture and has an email address.

If the Mac of your grand parents does not support iCloud and one of the photo applications, enable your shared album as a public web page and send the link to this page to your grand parents. then they can view the photos in a browser.
