How can I hide the TV app on Apple TV?

I cannot hide the TV app using these instructions in the Apple support site. They say to hold the remote butting down until the app icon wiggles, the press the pause/play to reveal a menu that gives me the option to hide, delete, or move the icon into a folder. I only get the move option. I'm using an Apple TV 4 with tvOS v11.0
