iOS 11 made it hard to know the battery status of BeatsX (and maybe also bluetooth earphones)

I have a BeatsX and after I upgraded my iPhone 6s OS to iOS 11 today, I found it extremely hard to check the remaining battery of BeatsX.

With iOS 10, the battery status of BeatsX can be found in the Control Center. After clicking the button on the music section of the Control Center, there will be audio output device options (iPhone, and then BeatsX). And the battery figure (for example: Battery: 88%) of BeatsX will be under it's name.

Now on iOS 11, it's gone. (As shown below)

The only way I found out to get the battery status of BeatsX is to pull down the Notification. In the music section of the Notification, after touching the output button, I can see the battery status for BeatsX.

BeatsX was designed to be more compatible with iPhone, so I am not satisfied with the new design of iOS11.

It just made things more complex, so I urge you to allow users to check battery status in the Control Center.

And, you should also allow iOS 11 to show the battery level of BeatsX in the status icon.

If the battery level icon can be shown "with some paired devices", so why not with BeatsX? Its an Apple product!

Hope I can see you change, Apple.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, there is a "Battery" widget which allows users to check the battery status of BeatsX if they scroll down the notification centre (on iOS 10.3.3). However, I still didn't get it why Apple doesn't want BeatsX's battery level to be shown right on the top of the screen---which I think is the most easiest and intuitive way to inform BeatsX users information about the battery status.

I bought BeatsX because Beats is now in a product line of Apple. I expected it to work compatibly with all Apple products I had. Sadly it's not like that.

Besides, I think it won't be hard for Apple to show the battery level icon for BeatsX--It all depends on if Apple wants to do that.
