watch 2 touch issues

Since updating to watch iOS 4 yesterday i can no longer use my protective case..take it off and it all works fine. Have I missed a setting for sensitivity.

All,

I have the same issue too and have submitted feedback/bug report to apple.

I have noticed that if you disable "wrist detection" on the watch (on iphone: watch app - passcode - wrist detection) it works perfectly and is a lot more responsive.

Whilst this doesnt fix the bug, it allows a workaround in the meantime. Albeit at the sacrifice of the wrist detection, unlock with iphone and possibly other features.

Well, I tested the rest of my cover cases, with the same result.

It accepts the PIN without any problem, sometimes I can swipe between faces in one direction, or get into control center, but definitely it is not full functionality.

I contacted Apple Support, and was told it would be forwarded for further evaluation, but was advised to wait for an update and install it as soon as it is available...

I guess they need to collect more cases to do something about it, if there is actually something they can do, but I am not sure about that.

It is a pity that one cannot go back to the previous version of watchOS, where it was working properly literally without any disruption for months and wait for an update of the current one.

I have the same issue.

Interesting that when I switched to another cover case it worked for an hour or so and then the issue appeared as well. I have several cases will test all of them tomorrow, but this is really unpleasant. How can a software upgrade cause such a HW/accessories problem?😕

At least there the cover glass still works as it used to before (luckily I had one spare from the time before full cover cases).

I have the same issue, I wouldn't have updated either 😟 I am so upset that my protective case stops me from using the watch 😢 I still leave it on and take it off when I use the watch but it is so frustrating to have to fiddle with this. I am not a fan of the new updates for the series 2 watch 😢 I hope we get some sort of fix for this soon. I know it isn't an apple issue but we need to protect our apple watches. they do scratch to easily.
