How come I don’t get the one handed typing option after upgrading to i

I have an iPhone 7 and recently upgraded to iOS 11; how come I do not have the capability to choose one handed typing from keyboard options?

I just solved this problem on my iPhone 8. Surprised none of these threads offer this basic info actually.

If you can’t find the keyboard left/centre/right option when you hold down the emoji or globe icon option on your keyboard, check your “Display Zoom” settings under Settings>Display & Brightness. I had mine set to zoom and when I changed it to standard and exited the option for one handed typing (keyboard left/centre/right) is there when you hold the emoji/globe icon on keyboard.

Hi RASalazar!

I understand that you'd like to use the One Handed Keyboard feature on your iPhone, and I'm happy to help. You can find that setting by going to Settings, then tap General. Tap Keyboard and you should see the option to enable the One Handed Keyboard.

Type with one hand. To move the keys closer to your thumb (all models except iPhone SE and iPhone 5s), touch and hold User uploaded file or User uploaded file, then slide to choose one of the keyboard layouts. For example, choose User uploaded file to move the keyboard to the right side of the screen.
