Recently i have been facing a problem of my iphone frequently showing unknown error "56", while updating to IOS 11. Even it didnt succeed, i tried to restore previous IOS 10 version in the phone, but again its showing same error. Could you please help in this regard by solving the probelm as soon as possible. I am in big trouble now. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Error 56 is an issue with Stockholm Chip on the board which controls the NFC interface
Options through Apple would most likely be if under warranty I recommend that route.
If not under warranty but you have apple care you can get it replaced that way
If no apple care their is our of warranty replacement which tends to be 300+

Do you have a jailbroken iPhone?
not exactly, i purchaged my iphone in 2015 jan from authorized dealer (vodafone store in Melbourne, Australia) on the plan. So, its not jailbroken. Let me know solution.
