Hi,
I'm not able to enable iCloud Drive and iCloud Backup after migrating to iOS11
The only thing I tested so far was signing out and back in to iCloud, however this does not solve the problem.
Any ideas?
iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11
1. iCloud Drive APP doesn't explicitly exist in iOS11, it has been replaced by the Files APP
2. If that's not the case, there seems to be only one thing capable of locking you out iCloud Drive and that is custom/corporate profiles
Settings -> General -> Profile
The simplest and the least invasive thing to check is to remove all profiles from your phone:
1. iCloud Drive APP doesn't explicitly exist in iOS11, it has been replaced by the Files APP

obviously I did try rebooting, isn't it the first thing one does when software doesn't work as intended?
I guess it's an old habit from a windows era 😉
anyway, still no iCloud Drive 😟
and no backups 😟
Thanks for the reply, Erik. I tried both of those with no result. I called Apple support and a very patient person went through several troubleshooting step but then concluded there was a conflict in the profile. And the suggestion below to remove the profile was the solution to the problem on my phone.
solved: my phone was using a profile that is incompatible with iOS11, after removing it everything went back to normal
What about restarting the device?
This would be more helpful if you said what the profile was.
I cannot enable icloud drive, but all the icloud services are working (such as backup, etc)
Still Rick: there are no restrictions set on the phone. I logged out of icloud and logged back in. No change
Thank you, wojtekwn. Removing the profile was easy and it was the correct solution. The screen shots helped. iCloud Drive is now working again.
