Apple Music Crashes After Update to iOS 11

Apple Music crashes immediately after update to iOS 11 and opening. I've tried reinstalling the application and syncing music again, but it didn't help. The steps to reproduce the problem are very simple:

1. Update your iPhone to iOS 11.

2. Open the Music app. It will crash almost instantly.

I'm encountering this problem on iPhone 6 Plus. I've already filed a bug report but am curious to see the extent of the problem. Has anyone had a similar problem on iPhone 6 or other devices?

I think I've found an even better workaround. It worked for me. It consists of the following steps:

Close the Music app.
Sign out of the App Store.
Go to Settings, scroll down until you see the iTunes & App Store submenu, and select it.
Select the Sign In option; enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap your Apple ID, and select the View Apple ID option.
Choose Country/Region.
On the next screen, tap the Change Country or Region option.
Select a country other than the current one.
Close all open applications using the App Switcher.
Try to open the Music app now. It shouldn't crash. If everything works fine, close the Music App, go back to the Country/Region selection screen, and select your old country/region.
Test the Music app again. It shouldn't crash anymore even if you're signed in to the App Store.

There seems to be a temporary workaround for the problem: Signing out of the App Store seems to help and prevents the Music app from crashing. Open the App Store application, click on the user's avatar, and choose the Sign Out option. Open the Music app again. Now it shouldn't crash. It works for me.

I have an iPhone 7 Plus 256 GB and mines crashed completely after trying to re-download all my music, now every time I go into the Apple Music app I just get a white screen with all the buttons at the bottom greyed out and then it just closes itself

I have exactly the same problem, also on iPhone 6 Plus. Strangely the Apple Music app was working after upgrading, but last night I added a new item to my library and since then it has been completely useless. The Video app I discover is also suffering from the same problem.

If you get stuck at step number 10, I suggest you simply skip opening the Music app before switching back to your old region. If nothing else works, signing out of the App Store before using Music might be your only option as you’re waiting for Apple to fix this.

I have the same problem with the music app crashing but have Apple Music Family Sharing and I can't change my country/region without canceling my subscription. Is there another way around this ridiculous problem? Also my battery life drains within a few hours from 100% after the IOS 11 update.

I solved this much easier.

- close music app

- close WiFi

- sign out of App store

- sign in to app store

- start Music app

- start WiFi

It works for me, so I hope it will help.

(Still no Apple Music for Croatia, which is shame for this country)

Mine plays for a while, then stops. I open the app, the last song played shows, then the player crashes. Also, it won't let me update playlists or download songs from the cloud, nor will it remove a downloaded song

I attempted the workaround as suggested but I am not able to change the Country/Region until I cancel my iTunes match. I have cancelled the subscription but still says the same thing! Please help this old lady!
