Compass app no longer has elevation in OS11.0

You CAN get elevation (and latitude/longitude) in the compass app, but you have to make sure that location services are enabled for the compass app:

Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> Compass -> While Using

I have the same issue on my iPhone 7 Plus and traced it to the font size setting. When it’s one tick above the mid point it won’t display.

While in the compass app swipe up, or however you get control center to display and you may have the font size control there. If you don’t, add it. While in an app you can change this for that app only, I believe, without affecting the others.

Settings/Control Center/Customize. You can add it there and then it will always be quickly available.

I have an iPhone 6S with iOS11. In Settings it says "Your location is used to show latitude and longitude" as well, but in the Compass app I get lat/long and elevation. Very strange that yours doesn't show elevation. Sorry I don't have any other ideas.

Great, how do I find font size?

Thanks for response. Font size is not in control center. Being digitally challenged, I wouldn't know how to add it.
