Compass app no longer has elevation in OS11.0

I upgraded to OS11.0 today and see that the Compass app no longer has an elevation reading. Is there a way to have this piece of data re-appear? Could not find one in Settings and here in Hawaii, elevations are a really handy thing to know! And if it has been removed, any suggestions on a decent app in the App Store to replace this data??

Mahalo for any and all feedback! 🙂

You CAN get elevation (and latitude/longitude) in the compass app, but you have to make sure that location services are enabled for the compass app:

Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> Compass -> While Using

Aloha, fmedeirosoh! 🙂

I thought that I had that set up and, on checking, found that I did. What it says (on my 6S+ iPhone with iOS11 anyway) in Settings is: "App explanation: 'Your location is used to show latitude and longitude.'" That's all - and that's all the Compass app is now showing - solely Lat and Long. Not sure why yours would be different - ???

Mahalo for your response!! 🙏

Thanks for response. Font size is not in control center. Being digitally challenged, I wouldn't know how to add it.

Compass app no longer has elevation in OS11.0

While in the compass app swipe up, or however you get control center to display and you may have the font size control there. If you don’t, add it. While in an app you can change this for that app only, I believe, without affecting the others.
