How do I change hyperlink color in Apple Mail?

I am trying to change the color of the hyperlink in my signature. is that even possible? Or is that something that the recipient controls?

You can right-click on the URL, and from the secondary menu, choose Font ▸ Show Fonts. You can then click the Text color button, and change the color of the text and link, but there is no control at this level over different text and link underline colors.

You might look at your local Library/Mail/V3/MailData/Signatures folder. Quick Look the text signature files until you discover the one you want to tweak. Using CSS3 a.link { color:#xxxxxx;} styling, you may be able to manipulate the text color, and the link color separately by restyling the <a> HTML tag.

More than likely, the recipient's Mail client will have other ideas how your signature is presented — or not.
