After IOS11 Update - Autocorrect changes "it" to "I.t"?

I know that I can simply turn off autocorrect, but I actually want it on for most purposes. I have confirmed that it isn't a shortcut that someone set up as a joke. I have also Reset the dictionary. I have also powered my phone off and on several times. It is maddening! If you didn't know, you use the word "it" quite a few times in emails an texts.

Any ideas? I have also typed it out literally hundreds of times and corrected it out each time, hoping that the autocorrect function "learns" but no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My phone has miraculously fixed this issue. I attribute it to me literally typing and autocorrecting the word dozens of times and then sending texts to myself. This remedy didn’t happen after just a single attempt, but it did clear up.

Now my iPad still has the issue because I don’t text or type quite at the volume I do with the phone, but it’s on the agenda to try and correct as well.

Mine has been doing the same with the word “we”, my phone keeps correcting it to W.E and it’s really driving me bananas. I’ve tried resetting the dictionary, making text shortcuts, installing the latest patch and force resetting my phone, nothing is working.... But I am half glad to know it’s an error on apples part, saves me the hassle of trying to figure out what on earth I’d done wrong!
