"Encrypt iPhone Backup" greyed out

"Encrypt iPhone Backup" greyed out

Hi. I'm unable to access the "encrypt iphone backup" check box in itunes. I've seen responses that suggest deleting profiles on the iphone but i don't see any profiles in my settings. There is a Per-App VPN set up for work (iron mobile). Speaking of which, when I installed mobile iron I was forced to download a profile but I don't see any "profile" menu in my settings -> general.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 10.3.3

Thanks. Turns out it actually is the profile that my company set up. It just wasn't listed in "Profiles". Instead, it was listed in "Device Management" and one of the attributes clearly is "Encrypted backups enforced".

It’s counter-intuitive, but the checkbox is active only when you switch to Automatic iCloud Backup. You’ll be asked for the backup password. Without it, it can’t be changed.
