this is to inform, my macbook pro is not accepting any raw files captured from my nikon D850.
can you please let us know when this can be sorted and we can use this files without any problem.
looking forward for the solution at the earliest

Yes, I did say maybe, Apple do seem to be dragging their feet on updating Camera RAW, last update was June.

Yes that is the same for me and others but you can open them in Preview and Photos.
If you open the folder containing your D850 images in column view, you will still get the generic thumbnail but you can see a preview in the Preview panel.
Nikon D850 RAW files are now supported in macOS High Sierra, Preview and Photos.
Please note it is only Nikon RAW L files that are supported.

You are not addressing Apple directly here, only users like ourselves.
What version of Mac OS do you have?
It maybe that when Apple updates its Camera RAW database Nikon D850 files will only open if you have
the new OS High Sierra which comes out on the 25th of September.
You can of course use the Nikon software to open and convert your raw files, or download Adobes DNG converter, once converted you should be able to use them in your Apple apps.
Apple ***** when it comes to RAW support. They took forever to support Fuji-Xpro2. They are too busy rolling out those crappy $1000 phones to the sheep. Very frustrating !
Lightroom is the way to go. Adobe did update Lightroom to support the D850 RAW.

I updated this evening and the D850 is not yet supported by macOS High Sierra
I takes a long time to update the camera!! I am not used to this from Apple!! When will it be available?
I also update to High Sierra a couple of days ago and still no support for D850 Raw Files on my iMac, vey disappointed with Apple on this one!!

But in Aperture the file isn't supported!! (unsupported file format) What is the problem?
Aperture is no linger sold or developed. It's over. Has been for almost three years now. It can't access new Raw updates either. That's what "it's over" means.
