iPhone 6 touch screen doesn't work after IOS11 upgrade

Just downloaded the IOS 11 update onto a iPhone 6 and surprise surprise the touch screen has stopped working. Now cannot finish setup as cannot input 6 digit security code to open phone.

Phone only 13 months old, have tried hard reboot but no joy. Cheers apple, one again you've buggered a device up.

Hi guys,

Spent 2 hours online chat with apple today, forced restart, factory reset, etc,all failed to bring the screen back to life. They tried really hard but ended up booking me in with nearest apple store on Monday under warranty. Seems to be a problem mainly with 6s versions for some reason. Hope this helps, the online chat was really enlightening, give it a go.

At this point it seems pretty clear that the problem is related to non-apple screen replacement. The only thin that can be done as of today, is to replace the screen for an original Apple screen at an Apple store (and pay for it). I would wait because this issue will be most likely be solved through software update in 11.1 or 11.2. If you hard-restart your phone enough, it sometimes work and it works fine until you lock it again, so the screen is not completely incompatible.
