Why since installing iOS 11 is my battery life compromised?
iPhone 7, iOS 11
I am having the same issue. My iPhone 7 Plus used to go all day before it even came close to reaching 70% on the battery. Now, only after a couple of hours my iPhone will drain down to 70% or lower! I never had this issue until updating to iOS 11. I have tried all the tips to prevent battery drain but to no avail. What the heck is going on?! I had a iPhone that could stay charged a day and a half, now I have an iPhone that is lucky to last half day.
I think that it is safe to say, that there are not billions of phones that have upgraded to iOS 11.
You’re correct. It’s probably only a billion.
Glad that you apparently have resolution.
What’s the procedure for “re-installing” an existing IOS?
Thanks
I did the update to iOS 11 and the battery level still drops like a stone.
I installed the 11.0.1 update and no change. Battery still draining and phone is VERY HOT 😟 I want to go back to 10.3.3. How do I do that?
This isn't a downgrade promoted by Apple... How do I know it's safe?
I am facing same issue. It look like battery drop by 5 to 6 % suddenly specially on youtube streaming. I am rolling back ios 10.3.3 since ios 11 is just useless..
Its not done by apple but you can do your self. Lots youtube videos are available. I am also rolling back to ios 10. Ios 11 suck Battery fast..
I have similar problems with my iPhone 6s especially when I am using the camera. Making about 20 photo's cost me nearly 8% battery life.
Your IOS is still working in the background updating your phone or tablet. Goes away in a couple of days, then stays charged as before.
I know about that but I have updated to iOS 11 on September 19 that is more the a couple of days......

What is going on Apple??
What did they tell you when you took your iPhone to an Apple Store?
I have had the same issue with my iPhone 6. Never had an issue with my battery until the new iOS 11 update. Did you find a solution?
