Charger ordered on Amazon

Hi! After 5 years I have a defective Apple Charger that came with my 13 inch MacBook Pro. I ordered a replacement from Amazon, after not being able to find one on Apple's website. How can I be sure that this will work and is not a knock off? I have looked and it has the same fine print and other characteristics to my charger that I received when I purchased my Mac. I have a friend who had a bad experience with this and want to prevent that from happening before I open it. Thanks!

Your best bet would be to take your none working charger to Apple Store and tell them you need a replacement.

We have no idea what model/year computer you have nor what charger you ordered. I suggest you ask Amazon if the product you ordered is a "knock off" or not. I would order one from Apple if I was concerned.
