I clear out my recent items list on a regular basis. Today I saw a file labeled config.upload. I've googled up and it seems it is used to pass along info to switches/routers. I've never seen this before so I wonder if any of you have and could provide more information about what it is and what it does.

I discovered the same thing this morning. Oddly enough, I have a fresh router from my ISP that just arrived yesterday. I'm going to install it today. I've been having issues with my current router. I wonder if it updated overnight and I'm seeing a list of config.upload files listed.
Have you made any router changes recently???
I did change ISPs recently. I had to reconfigure my network for the dual band router I now use. However, that was about two months ago. I had to reconfigure the network printer to work with the new router. I did that about two to three weeks ago.
That's all I can think of.
