iphone 7 Plus stereo speaker volume

Anyone notice low volume when playing music from the IPhone 7 Plus own stereo speakers when playing music after iOS 11 upgrade, mine are at half the volume they used to be and the ringer is not as loud.

Apple Watch, watchOS 1.0.1

No. I haven't noticed that at all.

Some people have reported that the option to change volume with the buttons got turned off with the update. Settings>Sounds & Haptics>Ringer & Alerts>Change with buttons.

Hi, same problem with my iPhone 7s post the 11.0.3 update.

Here’s a little more detail and a temporary manual workaround:

1. When I start playing music or podcast the volume plays at about 50% of what it should be.

2. Same experience from headphones, Bluetooth, and the phone’s own speaker.

3. While continuing to play in the background, launch the camera app (or Shazam app works too) then close that app down (swiping it up after a double click on the home button) and the sound comes back to 100%.

4. I havent found any other apps that have the same effect.

5. Pausing the music or forwarding a track brings the volume back down to 50%.

hoping they fix this soon!

You have to play music through your iPhone speakers to notice this, not your headphones, I have found four people at my job with the same problem, I’m convinced there are more.

Yes, that's what I did. No, I don't notice any difference.

However, unless you can take two iPhone 7 Plus phones, one with iOS 11 and one with iOS 10.3.3 (preferably both brand new) side by side and play exactly the same music, it's hard to say if there is a actual volume difference or a perceived one. Human memory is a very unreliable thing. I don't have a phone to compare with either.

Yes, I have the same problem with volume level on my iPhone 7 after iOS 11 is installed. When I playback the music by bluetooth (car audio system and home speaker), on headphones or by docking station connected to home audio the volume level is half lower than with iOS 10. But when any sound is played (incoming mail, message or navigation speaker) the volume increases to normal level. It goes down again when new music is played or after phone talk. This problem also occurs with ring tone of the phone. The ring tone is much lower than should be. When I use navi with voice the ring tone increases to normal level. Have anyone idea what is going on?
