Keynote for iPad

I'm using an iPad Pro 9.7 with IOS 11. Up until last IOS update, my Satechi bluetooth slim presenter worked just fine with Keynote for iPad. Using the Satechi device I could move my slides forward and backwards without any issues. After the update, Keynote doesn't recognize any key press in the remote control, so I can't remotely control my presentation.

Fearing that I had a problem with my remote control, I tested it with PowerPoint which worked flawlessly and then proceeded to test the remote control with Notes (the cursor moves froward and backwards) and Foxit PDF which works as well as PowerPoint. I also tested a bluetooth keyboard wth the same results.

I haven't found any issues like the one I'm having anywhere so I think it is a new "feature" or bug that prevents Keynote to recognize the forward and backwards key press in my Satechi remote control and my Logitech bluetooth keyboard.

I would like to know if someone has had the same issue and where to contact Apple to file a bug.

Thanks and regards,

Gustavo

Bluetooth remote FIXED with Keynote November 9th Update 3.3.1.

After the update, my Satechi remote worked fine.

Same problem here. I also talked to Satechi who falsely claimed that their remote hadn’t worked with either keynote or PowerPoint for some time. Really strange.

I get it to work with PowerPoint but not keynote since updating to ios11.

By the way, I also tested with logitechs bluetooth clicker called spotlight, and it has the same issues. So keynote/ios11 in combinations seems like the culprit.

I use my iPad Pro as primary presenter computer when traveling and working, so not getting this to work is a huge problem Apple!
