iPhone fetching old emails
My iPhone is fetching WAY too many very old emails from the server. How can I limit the emails coming in to the native MAIL app to just recent/new emails? ios 11, iPhone 7
That’s how IMAP email accounts work. Whate very is on the server will be synced to your device.
To limit this, Archive your older emails. If you do it in Mail app on your Mac, for example, put them in the On My Mac mailbox. This way they will not be synced to your devices, but will remain searchable on your Mac.
