How do some people get iPhones early?

I got the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus on time, but I heard some people get it shipped days before launch (September 19). I know, but most of these people that receive it early attended the event. I don't know how EverythingApplePro got it early. How?? He'd never joined any events or is reliable nor is he any good but how is he the only one with special shipping dates?
