iPhone 8 plus crackling speaker

Same problem. Started a thread about it on macrumors. Worst thing about this issue is that it happens randomly. Perhaps thats why relatively few people are reporting it, they haven’t experienced it yet. Yeah I’m having cracking with every single YouTube music video etc at the moment on my iPhone 8 Plus.. it’s so irritating and at the cost of the phone it’s shocking to have to endure.. never had this issues with all other Apple models I’ve owned just this 8..

Yeah I’m having the same exact problem. The crackling with every single YouTube music, video etc at the moment on my iPhone 8 Plus too. Its super irritating & annoying. This is my very first iPhone & not at all impressed. I agree at the cost of the phone it’s shocking to have to endure. Apple Need to Fix Fast!

Play any music. make or open Live photo (hard tap to make photo to alive) several times. is there crackling sound from all speakers? sometimes I have. It is realy annoying. When you listen to music and multitasking sometimes this sound appears.
I have no problem and strange sound while speaking. but with music is another situation

I have iPhone 8 Plus iOS 11.1.2

I’m having same issue videos FaceTime calls all pop and crackle only had the phone 1 month iPhone 8 Plus been on tech support for about 2 hours they are denying they know of any issues with this phone I have warranty guess I’m going to have to send it back because the software update does NOT fix the problem

iOS 11.0.2 has been released by Apple to address this issue.

I have the same problem. Apple is denying its a problem. I think I will return the phone for a refund before I miss the return window.

Same Problem here. I have an iPhone 8 Plus 64 GB Space Grey. Today I Updated to iOS 11.0.1. The Problem ist still there.

Crackling noise is very disturbing.

Changing the phone does not help, Seller says. Problem is on all the 8+ phones.

NOT true. 11.1 beta does actually fix the issue.

Same thing here. Just got the iPhone 8 plus yesterday. Another one to get returned!!!
