Hi there, alexgenio!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having issues with enabling Dictation on your iPhone. First, I recommend going to Settings > General > Restrictions and be sure the option for Siri and Dictation is on (green).

Another step you can try is to follow the steps for How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch . This will allow you to quit the Messages app and then, Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and see if the Dictation microphone has returned in the keyboard.

The next thing you might want to try is going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings. This will reset the iPhone settings, but not erase personal information such as photos, contacts, or music. It will, however, remove Wi-Fi and VPN settings so be sure you have those settings and passwords ready for when the iPhone is started back up.

Let me know the results and have a great day!
