iOS 11 and iPhone 8 Plus Restore From Backup Error - "iTunes could not restore the iPhone "iPhone" because an error occured"

Hello all,

Got the new iPhone 8 Plus. Tried to restore data from iPhone 6 Plus using iTunes backup. Phone displays 'Restore in progress', but fails when it is under a minute to complete restoration. Any had this issue?

Tried all the below with no luck so far,

1. Used iMac, and also MacBook Pro

2. Restarted the machine

3. Used official lightning cable

4. Used different USB ports

5. Have hard reset iPhone 8 Plus

6. Erased all settings and content after the first failure on iPhone 8 Plus

Also raised a case with Apple. Awaiting resolution.
