Ever since I switched from iPhoto to Photos, I am unable to find individual photos to attach to emails in gmail. When I use the attach icon, the only option I get is to attach the entire Photos app. I have both the attach and insert picture ions on my menu bar, but both get the same result. This used to be easy with iPhoto -- what am I doing wrong?
MacBook Air, Version is 10.12.6
In the attach window keep scrolling down to media ==> photos ==> photos and give it time to populate the photos display - attach from there
or better yet use Apple Mail and set up your Gmail account in it and email directly from Photos using the share capability

be patient - the first time can take a while

What if the photos don't populate? I just have a little pinwheel in the lower left of the dialog box.
This doesn't help.
