How do I manually update my iPod Software

I myself just logged in for exactly the same question. Is this Nike+iPod worthless, then?

I don't understand why this update is no longer accessable. Isn't it created in order to provide better support of their products, such as the Nike+iPod?

You can click help at the top and click check for updates and it will say you have the current iTunes software and the that will go away and then another window will come up and it will tell you that 1.2 is availbe.

yeah i just bought the nike+ shoes and the kit.

i installed itunes 7 and my ipod nano is set to software version 1.1.1 and it says it doesnt need to be updated.

but when i plug in the reciever into the nano, it says that the currently attached accessory is not supported by this ipod.

can anyone help?

my ipod is not recognizing my sensor and i was told to als update the ipod nano software to v 1.2, while i currently have 1.1.2.

but it says my itunes software is updated..so am i screwed also??
