Sytem Image Utility can't find Installer App

I'm trying to create a new NetInstall image to update one of our labs but System Image Utility doesn't offer any installation sources in the 'Choose a Source' screen. I have the latest version of 'Install macOS Sierra' on disk and the SIU preferences point to the correct folder where that app is stored (ironically the file dialog to select the location of the macOS installers even shows the installer apps, greyed out).

System Image Utility: Version 10.12 (807)

OSX Server: Version 5.3.1 (16S4128)

OS: macOS Sierra - Version 10.12.6

Any idea what went wrong?

OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I have always had my installer app file in the /Applications folder for System Image app to reference it. Have you tried copying your Install macOS Sierra installer app into /Applications?

No, the installer isn't found no matter where it is stored. The installer itself seems to be working (I can use it with SIU from another system). It's also possible to use the installer to create an .nbi using the command line tool from SIU.

But I need the GUI to create custom wokflows to generate custom images.

Thank's, but I know how SIU looks when it is working. As I wrote above, I'm able to run SIU on other Macs (same OS and Software version), just not on the active server.

That's odd. Mine shows up in the dropdown list.

Here's mine from a client running 10.12.6, installer app (10.12.6) in /Applications, System Image Utility 10.12 (807).
