Bent iPad Pro 10.5” - how to proceed?

Dear support team,

I purchased and iPad Pro 10.5” in August 2017.

At fist I noticed that it was slightly bent in the region near the smart connectors. Not so much but the screen was clearly bent.

I originally though it was purposely made (like a design feature) to stabilise the iPad due to the camera bump. It clearly was not.

How should I proceed?

iPad was purchased on Aug 2017 and I would be keen to have it replaced with a non distorted one.

Thanks for your kind feeback

Edoardo

Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple.

I just got my new ipad and it's bent, after contacting apple support via phone, they admit this is manufacturing defects but when I sent to their service center and waited for hours, they just take a glance and said this is physical damage not under their warranty, without trying or understanding the issue even I tried to tell them I have contacted your apple support and this is whole new ipad, they just ignored~ This is super bad experience with Apple after using for about 10 years and these service center is doing their good job for killing the brand as well.

The worst scenario is all the apple service staff's altitude, showing kind of altitude like trying to i am trying to get advantage on them (I am in Malaysia), after a few rounds trying to reason with them and thru phone support, I have found a ultimate solution to solve this.

After so many years of using and support Apple, this is the treatment they gave so the best way is stop using them, I still having 14 active products with Apple, and they thought I am trying to get advantage from them, to save back my time and money, easiest way is stop buying and stop using Apple, they haven't realized if we changing to microsoft or pc how much money we can save to get better performance hardware, they still living in the dream / legacy of steve jobs while all their staffs are doing their best to kill off this brand.

GOOD JOBS, APPLE.

bye.
