Turn off notification in settings for apple pay

Becky was wrong.

The way you turn it off is to go foward as if to set it up. You will be prompted to enter your apple id, password. After your signed in select the option at the bottom to set up later in wallet. -

After a recent update, I was prompted to set up Apple Pay and I chose to set it up later in wallet, but I still received the notification. As Rhaga suggests, you must enter settings and choose to set up later in wallet a 2nd time for the message to clear. Thanks Rhaga! I hate looking at red exclamation points on my home screen!

I had this same annoying situation – I clicked on the message to finish setting up but then had the option to set up later. I clicked that and the reminder went away without actually setting up anything.

Go to notifications. and then to "wallet". you can turn off the "badge app icon" there. so easy and apple does not want you to know about this. otherwise they will easily let you know. what a shame.

You do not understand correctly. The notification is not from the Wallet application. The notification is located in Settings > Finish Setting Up Your iPhone

As far as I am concerned, I *am* finished setting up my iPhone. The phone in question is a corporate owned phone and all necessary applications are already installed. I have no need to add a credit card as there are no purchases that will be made on the phone and would like purchases to be impossible on this phone for security. However, every day the phone reminds me that I need to finish setting up my iPhone.

I would like to know if it's possible to stop this message, or if the only solution is to add a credit card and remove it later.
