How do I know if my 3G is working on my new watch

Just got my new Apple Watch series 3 and wondered how I will know if my 3G is working

Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular) only uses the built-in cellular feature when it cannot connect to the paired iPhone or to a trusted Wi-Fi network.


Keep in mind that built-in cellular features require a carrier service plan for your iPhone that specifically includes support for Apple Watch (including the carrier activating the device on the plan):

When cellular is being used, signal strength can be checked by using the Explorer watch face (a signal strength indicator is shown when cellular is being used) or by checking in Control Centre:

Still not working, Watch works fine when in range of phone but the minute it’s out of range the red x appears, also I’m having trouble with my 7 plus connecting to a wireless speaker, have replaced the speaker tonight and it’s doing exactly the same, does anyone know if there are issues with Bluetooth with the new update and if there are many teething problems with the new watches?
