Hello. I brought my phone at the service center and they performed a diagnosis on it. Turned out that my phone has a hardware defect. They replaced my phone with a new one. The only downside was I had to wait for 3 weeks to have my new handset.

Although this sounds different from descriptions I've read in various news reports, this issue could be related to the so-called "touch disease" suffered by some 6s phones. The problem seems to be caused by how the screen is connected to the phone. Apple has offered a repair program for $149 for 5 years past the original sale date. Hello. Thank you for responding. My problem is not found in any of those. My device performs perfectly fine but I have noticed a grey smudge/ discoloration on the upper left corner. It doesn't show much on white or extremely dark backgrounds. But they are visible on blue, violet pink or any backgrounds that are not extremely light or dark. It bothers me because I am afraid the smudge miight griw and affect my phone eventually.
Thank you. Do you think I could stillget it repaired for free? It's still within the warranty period.
