on my iPad the mail app doesnt Show latest message on top. I have to always scroll up to see latest messages. Every time I open mail it’s showing messages 3 or 4 down the line its really annoying always scrolling up. Why cant it show right away newest messages on top, this started in iOS 11. Any one else notice this?

It works like in Safari, but in Safari you tap above the time. In mail tap just above where it says inbox. They still need to fix this even if this helps.
This is annoying for sure, but I just discovered a quick way to scroll to the top... inside the mailbox, if you tap on the upper left corner (where the WiFi icon is),it will auto scroll to the top of the inbox. Saves me having to scroll through weeks of email to get to the top

Go to settings down to Email Accounts delete accounts that are not working correctly then add them back again.

Thanks for the response, that’s something I already do. The point is I shouldn’t have to do that. This does not happen on my iPhone. It’s still annoying to do and never happened to me until iOS 11.
I have this problem on my iPad too, since iOS 11. Before 11, I could tap “inbox” on the left and it would jump to the top email. I have tried the suggestion of touching the upper left corner, but it doesn’t work. It is especially annoying because the email app opens to an email from months ago, which requires a lot of scrolling to the top.
Apple, please advise or fix this issue.
