My MacBook Air is not booting up since latest update Mac OS 11, did force start it started worked fine, then same problem again! Help anyone ?

iOS runs on iOS devices, not Macs. OS X 10.11 came out several years ago. macOS 10.13 is due to be released some time later today.
Please clarify exactly what you're running and what's happening.
You’re correct, forgive my ignorance! I’m quite new to Apple jargon, I updated my MacBook Air with the latest updates, I think 10.12.3.
