The Sharing Location feature only works on wifi

I have the the Share Location on my daughters phone turned on but I can only locate her when I am on wifi.....it stopped working on the cellular data when I upgraded to the ios 11. How can I get it work on the cellular data?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11

Hi sogilvie01,

I understand that, when attempting to locate your daughter's phone, you're unable to do so unless your iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. In such a situation it may be that this functionality needs to be enabled in Settings > Cellular. You can find this feature listed there as "Find Friends."

Set whether cellular data is used for apps and services. Go to Settings > Cellular, then turn cellular data on or off for any app that can use cellular data. If a setting is off, iPhone uses only Wi-Fi for that service. The iTunes setting includes both iTunes Match and automatic downloads from the iTunes Store and the App Store.
