One side of stereo only in Bluetooth playback

I’ve only noticed this since the most recent major iOS update the other day, but playing back in my car via Bluetooth I’ve only got the left side. All other parts of this car stereo whether it’s satellite, AM/FM, or CD are fine.

Any help greatly appreciate it.

Hey JohnrC123,

I understand that after updating your iPhone 6s you are only getting audio playback on the left side in your car. The car stereo works fine on the other settings like AM/FM, satellite, or CD. I can understand wanting to make sure everything is working as expected. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you, Brendan. Unfortunately it didn’t help.

I’m presuming you’re pointing me to the section on that website for connecting Bluetooth. I followed the instructions anyways even though the Bluetooth connection was being successfully made.

In the process I’ve lost the Bluetooth connection to my car completely. In Options > Bluetooth on the iPhone, it’s not even seeing the car stereo anymore. I’ve turned off and on, reset network, updated iOS, and restarted the phone several times.

The iPhone has suddenly changed the name that it is discoverable by as well.
