How to Pair iWatch with iPhone Without loosing Watch Data

I backed up my iPhone last weekend, however upon restart my iwatch was disconnected. I realized it a few days later that my watch was no longer paired with my phone.

I had been working out since then with my watch and therefore this data has not synced with my unpaired iPhone

Does anyone know how can i pair my watch back to my phone so that I do not loose my health/activity data for this week on my watch? I hope there is sone way

Truly appreciate your help

Hi

If your Apple Watch has only become temporarily disconnected from your iPhone, then follow the steps here to reconnect it (but without unpair and re-pairing):

If your Apple Watch isn't connected or paired with your iPhone - Apple Support

If your devices have become unpaired rather than just disconnected - or if you need to unpair and re-pair in order to get them to connect again - then I'm afraid that it will not be possible to recover your recent Health and Activity data.

Thanks for sharing, I tried these steps but it did nt help.

Is there a way to affirmatively know whether my watch is unpaired or its disconnected? When i go to the watch app on my phone, it does say 'Pair Apple Watch.....you are using an iPhone that has been unpaireed from your watch....'

Why doesnt apple provides a way to back up Watch data, whats the point of have 2 GB internal storage, if there is no way to get the data?
