Is there a way to turn on 3D Dock in OS Sierra?

New to MAC. I see some MACs have 3D dock but I don't see a way to change my 2D Dock in OS Sierra to 3D Dock. Am I missing something?

If by 3D Dock you mean the dock shelf rendered in perspective, that’s the way the Dock used to look a long time ago. It is no more...

I have seen people use cDock2 to make the Dock look like the old way.
