Your iPhone came with iOS11 installed. iOS11.0.1 was released today to fix some bugs. Is that what you're referring to?
Thank you. This iPhone 8 didn’t come with 11.0.1. It came with iOS 11, however. I figured out the problem @ the new software updates installed. It was still backing things into the Cloud at the time. Thanks for answering.
Yes I know your phone didn't come with 11.0.1. 11.0.1 was just released today. I'm glad you got it working.
How many days did it take to finish backing up? I am on day 2.

It didn’t take long at all for mine to back up. Hope you’re using a good WiFi. You can also backup to iTunes. Or the Cloud.
