stating my Apple ID account was disabled due to suspected sign in and i need to veryfy my account details within 1 week or they will lock the account. However the link to login looked like an official Apple site. Please advise thanks.

It's a Scam.

Apple provide guidance in these documents but the key factors are … Apple will always address you by your name or the name they know you by and that email will always come from an address that ends ‘@apple.com’. It goes without saying that the Grammar and spelling is always correct.

Never click on any links within an email that you suspect. These are the Apple documents.
