Target Display Mode: Macbook Pro (2017) with iMac (Mid 2011) is causing MacBook to freeze

Update: Rebooted iMac, and now it works.

Using Target Display Mode with:

Macbook Pro (2017) High Sierra 10.13

To iMac (Mid 2011) Sierra 10.12.6

Causing MacBook to freeze.

Target display mode no longer works.
