Cracked screen

Cracked the screen on my Series 2 apple watch. Now I can't enter my lock code because some of the numbers wont read my touch. Tried to disconnect the watch with the App hoping I could reset the, watch and not use a lock code. But the watch won't let me disconnect it without entering my lock code to finish the disconnect process. Help. Anyway to override the lock code, or is my watch now useless?

Hi

Follow these steps to erase your locked Apple Watch and remove the passcode:

  • Connect your watch to its charging cable, connected to power.
  • Whilst keeping your Apple Watch on the charger:
    • Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
    • Press firmly on Power Off (do not try to slide it - just press down more firmly than a normal tap), release your finger and then tap on Erase all content and settings.

Apple advises that you should not continue using a damaged Apple Watch.

Apple does not offer a screen repair or replacement service for Apple Watch and Apple Watch is not user-serviceable.

Your Apple Watch may be eligible for replacement via chargeable, out-of-warranty service - or via AppleCare+, if previously purchased.
