Ios11 trash can gone again
Every time there is an update I loose the trash can icon in mail on my iPad air 2. This time I can’t figure how to get it back. I also can’t figure why apple is so stuck on this being the norm.

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to move messages in the Mail app on your iPad to the Trash as the icon is missing. If you haven't already, please force close the Mail app and restart your iPhone as iOS clears cached data and does other system optimizations when you turn your device off and on.
