iBook notes went wrong

I bought a textbook at iTunes Store and kept making notes in iBook. Yesterday, I got a massage there is a update version of my book and I just updated it. After I updated it, the notes made before lost order. When I click the notes in tool bar, it doesn't jump to where the note is but to the beginning of that chapter. This is what happened on my Mac. The things happen on my iPad just got worse that I can find the notes in the tool bar but I cannot see any notes in the body of the book. Does anyone meet this problem before? How can this problem be fixed?
