IOS 11.0.1 Battery Drain

Got to system geolocations services and turn off all that are not critical to you. There seems to be a bug, that keeps location services always active. I woke up at night to check that and almost half of all geolocation services had violet arrow, that means that it is active right now. I disabled everything except Compass, Find my iPhone, and time zone. Now battery life is much better, I really hope that Apple will issue a fix for that

I have an iphone 6s been on ios11 beta for 2 months with no problems.

Go to iCloud backup now over your wifi.

Then go to settings down to reset Restore iPhone back to factory settings

Then set back up over your wifi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes to get your apps and data back this will get rid of any bugs.

Go to apps store download Battery life it will test your battery condition

If you have a battery fault Go to Support.apple.com They will send you a post paid box to return iPhone for battery replacement.

Use simcard in other phone if you have one.

Mine took 4 days.

I found a solution with a little of pain but is a solution.

1.- Backup.

2.- set the iPhone in recovery mode.

3.- recover from fabric

4.- restore the backup

Now running 11.0.2 and my battery is running as normal

There is a small quantity of devices with that issue. The vast majority are fine. In fact, mine runs like a scalded dog. However, if I were having the problem, I wouldn’t tolerate it. I’d take the iPhone to the closest Apple Store for evaluation and resolution.

I'm also having the same issue. My iPhone 7 Plus battery used to last all day, but now it goes from 83% to 23% in just a few hours. Something not right with this update. Never had battery drain like that since I purchased this phone last November.

I have similar experience since I have updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 11. I have primarily noticed problems with my battery life and apps performance. The battery seems to drain very quickly. I used to charge my iPhone every 3 days but since I have updated to iOS 11, I am charging my iphone almost everday. In some days I charge it twice a day.

The other thing I am experience since I Updated to iOS11 is that my phones 'just get stuck on apps' and that a hard reset is the only way to resolve the issue. The iOS 11 is crashing apps as well.

I hope apple shade some light to the above problem.

I'll do y'all one better . . . my iPhone 5S/iOs 11.0.3 is actually DIScharging while on the charger with no apps open. Hooked it up at 58%, got the green battery charging icon, after an hour it's down to 42%.

Guess I'll roll it back to 10.

I am having as bad or worse battery drain on 11.0.1 and will be patient but hope this is quickly fixed!

I think apple has got the act wrong.. They want us to buy new phones at every launch

HUGE drain with very little use today. ios 11.0.1 update. This *****, Apple!

100% to 39% with little use. I raely use more than 25% on a whole day. Riciculous!
