Hi. If your iPad says that it's under management (part of an MDM program), you cannot remove it. Only the company that manages it can remove it. This device may have been stolen, or "walked away" from the company. If you purchased it as a used device, you have been cheated. Sorry.

No. Nothing has changed in this area with iOS 11.
You haven't actually described your problem. Are you seeing a message saying this device is configured by a company? If so, you were sold a stolen, or "borrowed", device that you won't be able to use.
Hi Timeprt605. Look at Settings > General > Device Management, near the end of General. If it's not there, then your iPad is not under MDM. But you should already know this, if the company IT department set your device up.
No, I have no problem using my iPad. But friend see the “remote management“ when she reset her iPad.
We got our refurbished iPads a year ago from same “Top Rated“ EBay seller. I just don’t want to run into same problem as she does. Thank you for you info.
I got the iPad a year ago from EBay. Not sure if it was under MDM. I have no problem reset it when it was not IOS11, otherwise I would have it returned when I got it. is this remote management only lock it under IOS11?
Is there a way to check our iPad to see if it is part of MDM program?
